About
Hello and welcome! My name is Kellie Lambert and I am currently a fourth year architecture student with a minor in Global Perspectives of Sustainability at Miami University. Throughout my journey, I’ve gained valuable experience in different studios and classes. I have also studied architecture abroad and had the opportunity to travel to the 2023 Venice Biennale. With these school experiences, I have also gained professional insight from different internships.
Over the summer I had an internship at Morley Corporation in Evansville, IN. Morley is an Architecture, Engineering, and Surveying company that offers all these services in-house. It was a great experience for me working all aspects of the company.
My job would change daily and include a lot of time out in the field, working on renderings for projects and sitting in on client meetings. Below is a more detailed list of my daily objectives.
-Visit construction sites to assist in planning areas along with learning about different aspects of a construction site
-Conduct research on sites and precedent studies
-Assist in different construction documentation
-Participate in in-house meetings on collaboration on different projects
-Participate in meetings concerning a pre-existing building being renovated
-Participate in meetings about different zoning and regulation laws.
-Communicate ideas through 2D and 3D computer software.
-Assist in drawings in Revit, Autocad, and Sketch Up.
